Kelli Brock, Principal, Bible, High School English, Electives Teacher
My name is Kelli Rusk Brock and I am the wife of Kevin Brock. We have three biological children and have been blessed to have an additional seven amazing young people we call our own that have come through our home. We are blessed with beautiful grandchildren ranging from 0-7 years old. Our family loves spending time together and we make sure there are planned events in our calendar to ensure that family time is preserved.
After high school graduation, I went to bible college with a passion to work with young people. I then went on to pursue a career as a teacher. I am a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree 1st-8th in Elementary Education. I have studied and admire the Montessori Methods of teaching and I have adapted those methods along with a biblical perspective and have produced a rich learning environment that develops the whole child. Knowing Jesus and His teachings are the foundation of truth upon which we guide our daily lives. The Montessori Method of teaching is respecting the way God created the child and with that understanding, following that child’s development along their journey of education. Foundation Academy Montessori believes in setting a firm foundation of the truth of the gospel and helping students to understand their created value, giftings, and purpose in life.

Lisa D. Michelli, School Administrator, High School Math & Science Teacher
Lisa Michelli joins Foundation Academy Montessori as an administrator and technology coordinator. Within her duties, she will assist with the math and sciences. She resides in Livingston and has walked with the Lord for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Redemptorist High School (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from LSU (minoring in safety and machine maintainability). She holds certifications from ASQ for Quality Technician and Continuous Improvement Associate. Her career path began with 25 years in the credit union industry and extends to include a chemical production lead, a published study in a hazard communication textbook, safety consultant and OSHA liaison inspector, Quality and Lean Manufacturing trainer with LED, a corporate trainer in Covington, Montessori training in Houston for the secondary platforms 7th through 12th grade, and teaching Montessori Middle School in Hammond. She has a private business that offers consulting, database design, and tutoring services. Her hobbies include crocheting, drawing, reading, and math. Lisa believes there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a learner (of any age) overcome obstacles to expand their horizons.
